Job Title: Sales Engineer / Field Sales Engineer Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat Industry: Filtration / Chemical Process Engineering/ Pharmaceutical API / Manufacturing (Valves, Pumps, Related Products) Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Engineer / Field Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is focused on building new customer relationships, handling B2B sales, OEM and direct sales, and developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background with excellent communication and customer relationship management skills. This position involves frequent travel to client sites. Key Responsibilities: Identify, target, and develop new B2B customers across industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical (API process), and industrial manufacturing firms. Manage and grow OEM and direct sales channels. Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, articulating complex concepts effectively. Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, production) to customize solutions as per client needs. Maintain and update customer interactions and opportunities via CRM tools. Contribute actively to business development strategies. Qualifications and Skills Required: Any Bachelors or master’s in engineering. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or chemical engineering is a plus. Minimum 4–5 years of sales experience, preferably in the Chemical process, pharmaceutical API process, filtration industry or companies specializing in valves, pumps, or similar technical products manufacturing. Strong aptitude with the ability to understand and explain product specifications and applications. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with CRM software and office productivity tools will be a plus. Proven experience in Direct (B2B Sales) , Technical Product Sales , and Customer Relationship Management . Exposure to Process Engineering , especially within the Chemical or Pharmaceutical API industries, is an advantage. Willingness and enthusiasm for regular business travel.
