Roles and Responsibilities Install fiber optic cables using various types of fibers (e.g., single-mode, multimode) and connectors (e.g., SC, LC). Conduct splicing operations to join two or more optical fibers together. Perform OTDR tests to measure cable length and identify faults or damage. Use power meters to measure signal strength and ensure proper functioning of installed equipment. Troubleshoot issues with broadband services by tracing network problems back to their source.
