Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Fashion Design or related discipline

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and up-to-date lectures in Fashion Design, Garment Construction, Pattern Making, Textile Science, and Fashion Communication.
• Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and course materials that align with current industry standards and academic excellence.
• Mentor and guide students through practical projects, fashion shows, industry internships, and final portfolios.
• Coordinate with other departments and industry professionals to provide guest lectures, workshops, and real-world exposure.
• Evaluate student progress through assignments, assessments, and feedback sessions.
• Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development committees, and college events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong academic background and/or proven industry experience in fashion design.
• Excellent knowledge of pattern drafting, draping, garment construction, textiles, and design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D preferred).
• Passion for teaching and mentoring young creative minds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, collaborative, and innovative approach to education.

Preferred:

• Previous teaching experience in a reputed design institution.
• Portfolio of personal or student work.
• Industry exposure through fashion shows, styling projects, or brand collaborations.
