Faculty – B.Com

Job Summary:

The B.Com Department is inviting applications for the role of Faculty from qualified individuals with a strong academic foundation in Finance and Accounting. The ideal candidate should possess a Master’s degree in M.Com and an undergraduate degree in B.Com. A minimum of 3 years of teaching or academic research experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified NET/SLET/KSET in Commerce or related subjects. The selected faculty will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and departmental development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach core and elective subjects in Commerce, Finance, and Accounting for B.Com students.
• Mentor and guide students in academic projects, internships, and skill-building initiatives.
• Develop and regularly update curriculum, assignments, and assessments in line with academic standards.
• Contribute to academic research, publications, and faculty development programs.
• Participate in seminars, workshops, and institutional activities to enhance student learning.
• Support department operations and initiatives aimed at quality enhancement and innovation.

Qualifications:

• M.Com or equivalent Master’s degree in Commerce – Mandatory
• B.Com or equivalent Bachelor’s degree – Mandatory
• NET / SLET / KSET in Commerce – Preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching and/or research experience in higher education

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong conceptual understanding of finance, accounting, taxation, and business law.
• Ability to simplify complex topics and engage students effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Research-oriented mindset with interest in academic contributions.
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, Excel, ERP tools) is desirable.
• Team player with a commitment to academic excellence and institutional growth.
