Within this context, the role of India Facilities Engineer becomes paramount, ensuring that all building operations are not only efficient but also adhere to the highest standards of safety and sustainability. Job Requirements • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of building systems, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and building codes. • Project Management Skills: Ability to plan, organize, and manage projects effectively. • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with staff, contractors, and stakeholders. • Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise and motivate a team. • Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, interpret schematics, and use relevant software. • Safety Knowledge: Understanding of safety regulations and procedures. Education • A bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical) is required. • Relevant experience in facilities management, maintenance and engineering for a large MNC/Campus with over 10-12 years’ experience preferred. • Professional/Industry certifications on HVAC, electrical, or civil will be an added benefit. • Experience & knowledge on audits such as ISO 14001,9001,27001,45001 will be an added benefit. • Experience in handling Government bodies such as PCB, CEIG, BWSSB, Bescom etc. to understand requirements and to ensure 100% compliance of facility will be an added benefit.
