Job Description

An Executive Housekeeper manages and oversees all housekeeping operations in a hospitality or residential setting, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role involves supervising housekeeping staff, developing and implementing cleaning procedures, managing budgets and inventory, and coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management:Supervising, training, and scheduling housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry staff, and other support personnel.
  • Cleaning Standards:Establishing and enforcing cleaning procedures and standards for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
  • Inventory Management:Managing cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping-related inventory.
  • Budget Management:Developing and managing the housekeeping budget, controlling expenses, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Guest Satisfaction:Addressing guest requests, concerns, and complaints related to housekeeping services.
  • Coordination:Collaborating with other departments, such as front desk, maintenance, and food and beverage, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Inspections:Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to established standards.
  • Safety and Compliance:Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures and the use of eco-friendly cleaning practices.
  • Administrative Tasks:Handling administrative tasks such as preparing reports, attending meetings, and maintaining records related to housekeeping operations.

  • Financial Management:Understanding of budgeting principles and the ability to manage expenses effectively.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility:Ability to adapt to changing situations, handle multiple priorities, and respond to unexpected challenges.
  • Attention to Detail:A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
