John Galt International is a 45-year-old heavy diversified fabricator based out of Badlapur, Dist. Thane. We are a national award winning Defence Equipment Supplier registered directly with all 3 armed forces. We also manufacture process equipment such as storage tanks, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, reactors, and structural equipment such as girders, pre-fabricated structures, mining equipment. We have 3 units in Badlapur totalling 15000 sq. meter of fabrication space. We are TQM certified and are a young team of 20 engineers and 250 workmen. We are constantly looking to expand our headcount, projects and geographic coverage. Position Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically strong Cost Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience in cost estimation and proposal engineering in the Oil & Gas or Heavy Engineering sectors. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge, familiarity with ASME and API codes, and strong techno-commercial acumen to prepare accurate and competitive proposals for projects involving Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, and Storage Tanks.

Ensure all estimations comply with relevant industry codes such as ASME Section VIII, ASME Section IX, API 650, and TEMA standards. Consider fabrication complexity, site conditions, and safety requirements during estimation and project planning.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain estimation logs, cost databases, and proposal archives for internal reference and audits. Prepare cost comparison reports and assist in post-project analysis to refine future estimation processes.
