· Machine Operation: Operating CO2 laser machines to cut, engrave, and mark materials according to specifications. · Material Handling: Loading and unloading materials, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring proper material placement for optimal results. · Design Interpretation: Working with design files (e.g., in CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, or RDWorks, Photoshop ) to prepare for laser cutting or engraving. · Parameter Adjustment: Adjusting laser power, speed, and other parameters based on material type and desired outcome. · Quality Control: Inspecting finished products for accuracy, consistency, and quality, ensuring they meet established standards. · Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Performing routine maintenance tasks on the laser machine, troubleshooting issues, and reporting any problems to maintenance personnel. · Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. · Inventory Management: Maintaining an organized workspace, potentially managing materials, and recording machine settings and job information. · Collaboration: Working with other team members (e.g., designers, supervisors) to ensure efficient production and meet deadlines.
