As an Engineer II - Software Development at Accelya, your role is to build high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design. You will be responsible for gathering user requirements, defining system functionality, and writing code in various languages. Your duties and responsibilities will include translating processes and enhancement specifications into programs, developing error-free code within agreed timescales, evaluating changes and performing impact analysis, working with functional staff to establish requirements, investigating reported faults in operational code, designing unit testing plan strategies, and taking ownership of the test and implementation phases of projects. The knowledge, experience, and skills required for this role include proficiency in Java, JavaEE frameworks (Spring, Struts), HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Eclipse, JavaScript, JQuery, and SQL. You should also have experience managing servers in Linux environments (Tomcat, JBoss), understanding functional requirements, delivering technical documentation, and hold a degree in Software Engineering.
