Electrical Manager

You are looking for an experienced Deputy General Manager Electrical to oversee electrical construction and commissioning activities in thermal power projects. Your role will involve leading various electrical construction aspects such as BTG (Boiler, Turbine, Generator), BOP (Balance of Plant), Switchyard, Substations, Transformers, and Generators. You will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and external contractors. Additionally, you will lead site execution, installation, and commissioning activities, monitor project progress, and provide timely reports and escalations. In terms of technical competencies, you should have expertise in Electrical System Design & Engineering, including designing and reviewing LV, MV, and HV electrical systems. Knowledge of protection schemes, relay coordination, and fault analysis is essential. You should also have hands-on experience in project execution and commissioning of electrical equipment, familiarity with commissioning protocols and documentation, and proficiency in reviewing drawings and documentation. Experience in Switchyard & Substation Engineering, Transformer & Generator Systems, Compliance & Standards, and the use of software tools like AutoCAD, ETAP, and MS Office is required. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 18-24 years of experience, with at least 5 years in thermal power projects. A B.Tech / B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering is necessary. In addition to technical skills, soft skills are also crucial for this position. You should possess strong leadership and team management capabilities, effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills, and the ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.,
