Drawing Faculty

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Drawing Tutor with a Master's in Fine Arts to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching basic drawing techniques to students aged 16–20. A strong foundation in drawing objects, animals, and human figures with correct perspective and proportions is essential. Fluency in English and Malayalam is required, and familiarity with graphic design is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver structured lessons in basic drawing skills including sketching, shading, perspective, and figure drawing.
• Teach students to draw objects, animals, and human figures with accuracy in proportion and perspective.
• Guide students in improving their observation and rendering skills.
• Evaluate and critique student work objectively and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with students in both English and Malayalam.
• Integrate basic graphic design knowledge into teaching, if applicable.
• Prepare lesson plans, demonstrations, and class materials.
• Maintain records of student progress and performance.
• Collaborate with other faculty and participate in academic planning.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Fine Arts (MFA) or equivalent in a related field.
• Prior teaching experience with students aged 16–20 is preferred.
• Excellent drawing skills in a range of subjects (still life, figures, animals, etc.).
• Strong understanding of proportion, anatomy, and perspective.
• Proficiency in English and Malayalam (spoken and written).
• Basic knowledge of graphics software or digital art tools is an added advantage.
• Ability to assess and mentor students with clear, actionable feedback.
• Assertive, confident, and inspiring personality.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
