Draughtsman

As a Draughtsman for Solar Projects based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of solar plants. To excel in this position, you should have an ITI/Diploma in Electrical from a reputable institute along with certification in AutoCAD. Experience with Autodesk Inventor, Helios, and other PV software is highly preferred. With a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience, you are expected to have a strong knowledge of IEC codes and industry practices, particularly in Solar PV designs. Your responsibilities will include assembling document packages and developing drawing sets for review by engineers. You will need to quantify factors affecting the arrangement and installation of equipment and components, as well as maintain CAD templates and libraries. Generating general arrangement/layout drawings, section and elevation drawings, and single and three-line diagrams will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing in-house drawings, explaining the prepared drawings, and responding promptly to the team for any necessary amendments or modifications. Efficiency in preparing wiring diagrams, earthing layout, cable plan layout, string details, and station cabling details for PV projects of different capacities is essential. You will also be required to calculate and collect quantities for bill of material as per the drawing, maintain project engineering records, and coordinate with the project and engineering teams on all technical aspects of each project to update or make changes to correspondence drawings.
