Key Duties / Responsibilities:

 In charge of all berthing, shifting, hauling, docking, undocking and transferring vessel activities on dry berth.

 Review docking plans for technical adequacy, check the hull contours and structural members of vessel to define proper placement of lifting blocks.

 Develop blocking configuration for all vessel handled.

 Identify training needs of subordinates and enable them develop skills required.

 In addition execute any other jobs/tasks as assigned from time to time.

 In charge of maintenance of dredging at Ship lift.

 Create infrastructure facility to meet the operational demand of the shipyard.

 Execute the marine services like crane, workboats, transporter and docking & un-docking operation.

 Execute Ship-transfer system operation during docking / undocking.

 Review Sub-contracting activity and Infrastructure related activity at Ship lift.

 R&R worker management.

 Training and development of subordinates.

 In addition execute any other jobs/tasks as assigned from time to time.
