Digital Marketing Growth Engineer Assistant

A leading digital agency based out of Toronto; Canada is looking for an SEO leader/ organic growth hacking expert. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with over 150+ clients in 20 different industry verticals and guide the Execution Specialists in delivering stellar growth for their accounts. The position is remote and the successful candidate can be located anywhere in India. The compensation will be based on competitive local standards.

The work hours will be 9 am to 5 pm Toronto time ( 6 pm to 2 am India time approx) Majority of our team members are remote and based out of different cities in India.

Role: - Responsibilities
Develop and execute successful SEO strategies for your client portfolioIdentify key SEO KPIs based on clients business objectivesPerform large scale keyword research regularly in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunitiesWork with content teams to guide existing content optimizations and new content creationReview technical SEO issues and recommend fixesCollaborate with web developers for implementation of SEO recommendationsDirect off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other identified KPIsCommunicate to clients, team, and management about strategy/project development, timelines, and resultsWork with social media and PPC teams to optimize campaignsKeep abreast of SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices

Requirements
6+ years of experience as SEO Manager or similar role2+ year of experience in a client facing roleKnowledge of standard and current SEO best practices for both onsite and offsite factorsKnowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScriptExperience with SEO reporting

ResponsibilitiesPresentation & Document ManagementAssist with structuring and editing PowerPoint presentations and reportsMaintain and organize Excel sheets for data tracking, lead lists, and performance metricsYouTube & Social Media SupportUpload and optimize YouTube content (titles, tags, thumbnails, descriptions)Monitor engagement metrics and prepare performance summariesCoordinate with content creators or editors when neededOutreach & Lead GenerationUse LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and engage prospective leadsCraft outreach messages and follow-up sequencesTrack and report on campaign effectivenessDigital Marketing & Tool SupportAssist in analysing current company projects for performance using google analytics, AI tools, Lookerstudio and Google trends, etc.Stay updated with AI tools and recommend ways to automate repetitive tasksHelp integrate marketing tools into workflows (Claude, Canva, ChatGPT, etc.)

Skills & Qualifications
