ServiceNow ITOM Developer Position Title: ServiceNow ITOM Developer Experience: 5+ Years Location: Bangalore Key Responsibilities: Configure and implement ServiceNow ITOM solutions, including Discovery, Event Management, and Orchestration. Develop and customize ServiceNow ITOM applications to align with business requirements. Ensure effective integration between ServiceNow ITOM and other systems such as monitoring tools and CMDB. Automate IT operations processes, including incident, change, and event management, to drive operational efficiency. Perform configuration, testing, and validation of ITOM modules to ensure seamless performance. Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with monitoring tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, or other third-party monitoring systems. Manage and troubleshoot Discovery jobs, Event Management rules, and Orchestration workflows. Work closely with stakeholders to design solutions for improving IT operations and service delivery. Conduct performance tuning and optimization for the ITOM platform. Provide ongoing support for the ITOM platform, troubleshooting issues and identifying process improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications: 4 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, Event Management, Orchestration, and Cloud Management). Strong experience in configuring and managing ServiceNow Discovery and Event Management. Familiarity with ServiceNow Orchestration and automation tools. Expertise in ServiceNows CMDB and how it integrates with ITOM. Experience with REST and SOAP web services for integrations. Ability to design and implement automated workflows in ServiceNow. Proficiency in scripting (Server-side and Client-side) within ServiceNow (JavaScript, GlideScript, etc.). Knowledge of operational IT processes, including monitoring, event management, and incident response. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – ITOM or similar certification is preferred. Desired Skills: Familiarity with IT Operations monitoring tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, etc. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex ITOM issues. ServiceNow Integration Hub experience. Understanding of ITIL best practices in ITOM.

Key responsibilities Experience in delivering complete S4 HANA Finance solutions to the business, proficient in analyzing and translating Business/Process requirements to technical requirements Expertise knowledge in S4 HANA JVA modules is desired Performs the S4 HANA configurations & ensures that Build standards are adhered to best practices. Understands the S4 HANA configurations & master data activities with cross functional area Integration with other modules. Understanding of Business requirements and develop the IT Solution by working along with Process Architects/Design Authorities Works with Lead Business Analyst/Process Experts to develop technical design specification for solutions with high complexity Performs Unit Test, and supports Integration Test for the applicable solutions Undertake Problem Analysis to identify root causes of incidents, escalating findings within the Line and Business, to minimize such incidents re-occurring Drive resolution of defects during test cycles and hyper care as well as for critical incidents. Supports the resolution of Production issues in meetings with the Run & Maintain organization. Work experience on the areas such as handling complex Change requests / enhancements is a must. Should have good understanding of Finance Close, Consolidation and Group reporting activities. Skills with only Support experience or majority of support experience will not be Suitable Certain degree of knowledge in S4 HANA integration with other modules will be an advantage Well versed with S4 HANA system implementation methodology Dedication to meet the customer requirements and expectations, taking ownership of problems and respond in a proactive manner where appropriate.
