Linux OS Internals - Strong knowledge of Linux boot process, internals, and troubleshooting. Golden Image Creation Build Linux Golden images using tools such as Packer and PXE/Kickstart workflows for virtual and physical platforms. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Develop IaC templates using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or native tools for vSphere/Hyper-V for provisioning virtual infrastructure on hypervisors such as VMware and Hyper-V. Configuration Management (CM ) Implementation Implement CM logic using tools such as Ansible (roles, playbooks) and AWS SSM. CI/CD for Infra & Configuration Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and configuration automation. Image Lifecycle Operations Implement OS Image Lifecycle operations such as versions and cleanup. Patch Managemen t Implement patching tools and flows. Authentication Integration Configure Linx OS authentication via centralized IdP such as AD. Compliance & Hardening Apply pre-built CIS hardening and CM-based policy enforcement. Automation Scripting Proficient in Bash; comfortable with Python/YAML for automation. Version Control & GitOps Maintain code in version control systems such as Git. Platform -Specific Implementation Work with VMware, Hyper-V, and physical hosts in real-world automation tasks. Mentoring & Collaboration Guide Platform Engineers and ensure implementation aligns with architecture. Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
