Devops Engineer

Namaskaram! We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with 8-10 years of extensive experience to join our growing team at AjnaLens . In this leadership-oriented role, you will drive the strategic direction of DevOps , architecting scalable solutions, leading automation efforts, and ensuring the resilience and reliability of our infrastructure. Your expertise will enable faster product delivery, enhanced system performance, and a strong DevOps culture across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Architect and manage advanced CI/CD pipelines to support high-velocity development and deployment cycles. Lead infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent driving Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption across teams. Design and manage scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure. Establish and refine monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar. Implement robust security measures across systems and networks, and ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, product) to embed DevOps best practices across the SDLC. Own incident management and disaster recovery strategies, including root cause analysis and system hardening. Mentor junior DevOps engineers and foster a collaborative, learning-focused environment. Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve system reliability and team productivity. Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure, processes, and architectural decisions. Requirements: 8–10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering. Proven expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc. Deep experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Advanced containerization and orchestration knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm). Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS preferred; GCP or Azure is a plus). Solid Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Bash, Python, or equivalent). Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and securing deployment pipelines. Strong version control knowledge (Git), with branching strategies and GitOps concepts. Excellent troubleshooting, incident response, and system performance tuning skills. Nice to Have: Prior experience supporting consumer-facing mobile/web applications at scale. Exposure to e-commerce, retail tech, or emerging hardware products . Experience in startup environments , scaling infrastructure for rapid growth. Familiarity with service mesh architectures and observability patterns (e.g., Istio, OpenTelemetry). Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or Security are a plus.
