We are looking for a talented and innovative Designer from NIFT to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will bring fresh perspectives, strong design sensibility, and a deep understanding of fashion/textile/lifestyle trends. You will be responsible for concept development, product design, and driving creative excellence across collections or design projects.

Experience required : 2 years - 5 years

Location : Lower Parel

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop original designs for apparel, textiles, fashion accessories, or lifestyle products (as per domain).
• Conduct trend research, material exploration, and mood board development.
• Create detailed technical drawings/specifications using tools like CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
• Collaborate with sampling, production, and merchandising teams to ensure design execution aligns with vision.
• Work on color palettes, surface ornamentation, fabric swatches, and trims selection.
• Stay updated on national and international fashion trends and consumer behavior.
• Present design collections to internal teams or clients with clear rationale and storytelling.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from NIFT in Fashion Design / Textile Design / Accessory Design / Knitwear / Lifestyle Product Design or relevant specialization.
• Proficiency in design software like CorelDRAW, Illustrator, and MS Office.
• Strong design portfolio showcasing creative thinking and technical skills.
• Understanding of materials, garment construction, printing/embroidery techniques, and production processes.
• Excellent communication, time-management, and collaboration skills.
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
