Overview:

Tech Innoviz is recruiting an experienced Design Engineer to join team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Execution of specific tasks, from the initial 3D to 2D drawings including, but not limited to:

• Setup Planning (in liaison with Design Engineering team)
• Understanding design challenges and resolve design problems can handle 3D Modelling tasks related to mould design/ modification and part modelling
• Can handle drafting tasks related to mould, shell, FRP and panel drawings
• Understanding of engineering drawings and related standards
• Arrange review of work by reporting person Ability to understand composite materials (material, manufacturing techniques, in-house variants of tooling)
• Ability to coordinate among the design and other departments in the company
• Ability to interpret structural documents to the correct choice of process, tooling, and panel detailing
• Ability to work across different mould tasks and capture optimization opportunities to save time and/ or costs

Ability to analyse a given surface to propose tweaking points and/ or design modification to save time and/ or cost

Support communication flow within the department and between key stakeholders, including:

• Bill of Materials and materials specification
• Milestone information
• Design changes
• MRB

Overview: Tech Innoviz is recruiting an experienced Design Engineer to join team on a contract basis.

Key Skills Required:

Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience in CATIA V5, specifically:

o 3D Part Modelling o 2D Drafting o Generative Shape Design (GSD)

Experience in mould design, FRP, shell, and panel drawings

Preferably experienced in Composite Design (not mandatory)

Proficiency in interpreting engineering and structural drawings

Familiarity with material specifications, manufacturing techniques, and process optimization

Good understanding of Bill of Materials (BoM), design changes, and milestone documentation Aerospace, Automotive, and Rail domain working knowledge is preferred Key Responsibilities: Execute end-to-end tasks from 3D to 2D drawings

Perform setup planning in collaboration with the design engineering team

Solve design challenges, optimize time and costs

Coordinate with internal teams and departments

Interpret and apply structural documents to process, tooling, and panel detailing

Provide input for tweaking designs for manufacturability and efficiency

Eligibility:

Must hold a valid passport

Open to onsite deployment in Dubai for the full contract duration
