Role & responsibilities

Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies using
Creo Parametric
.
Apply
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
principles to ensure product functionality and manufacturability.
Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models adhering to
ASME
and
ISO welding standards
.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and procurement to optimize design and cost.
Conduct
DFM/A (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly)
reviews and initiate improvements.
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and ensure alignment with functional requirements.
Support prototype builds, testing, and validation processes.

Preferred candidate profile

Proficiency in
Creo Parametric
, specifically for sheet metal module.
Strong knowledge of
GD&T per ASME Y14.5
.
Familiarity with
welding symbols, processes
, and
international welding standards
.
Experience with
PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter)
is a plus.
Good understanding of
material selection
,
fasteners
, and
surface finishes
.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in ,
CREO sheet metal design
and product development.
