Job Description

Role & responsibilities Developing New Products or Systems: Design engineers create concepts and designs for new products or systems, addressing specific needs and requirements. Improving Existing Designs: They also work on modifying existing designs to enhance performance, efficiency, or functionality. Using CAD and CAE Software: They utilize computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided engineering (CAE) software to create detailed technical drawings, models, and plans. Testing and Analyzing Prototypes: Design engineers conduct testing on prototypes, analyze data, and make adjustments to improve designs. Collaborating with Other Teams: They work with various teams, including R&D, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure designs align with overall product development goals. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: They identify and resolve design-related issues, ensuring designs are feasible and reliable. Documentation and Reporting: Design engineers prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate design details and progress. Staying Up-to-Date: They keep abreast of new technologies and design trends to incorporate them into their work. Adhering to Standards: Design engineers ensure that designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations. Proposing Scheduls and Budgets: They may also propose schedules and budgets for projects and stick to them. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 2 years experience in Mechanical Design using Solidworks/Autocad.
