Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop 2D and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo).
Design mechanical parts, assemblies, or systems based on technical requirements.
Perform tolerance analysis and basic engineering calculations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design feasibility, prototyping, and validation.
Modify and improve existing product designs based on feedback or testing.
Ensure design compliance with industry standards, safety, and functional requirements.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation including drawings, BOMs, and technical reports.
Support production and quality teams during pilot runs or troubleshooting.
Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
15 years of experience as a Design Engineer or in a similar role.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, CATIA).
Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of GD&T and technical drawing standards.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
