Deputy Manager Recycling Plant

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Deputy Manager for a Recycling Plant, with expertise in greenfield project execution and plant operations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, setup, commissioning, and day-to-day operations of a new recycling plant. Your responsibilities will include overseeing production and maintenance, ensuring adherence to recycling processes, machinery operations, statutory compliance, and successful project execution. Your key responsibilities will involve assisting in the end-to-end execution of greenfield recycling plant projects, collaborating with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to meet project milestones, coordinating statutory approvals and environmental compliance, preparing project budgets and technical specifications, supervising daily operations such as sorting, processing, and recycling of various materials, monitoring production targets and efficiency, implementing SOPs for safety and productivity, leading troubleshooting efforts, supporting staff recruitment and training, maintaining operational documentation and compliance records, and ensuring adherence to pollution control standards and ISO certifications. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, along with 8-10 years of experience in recycling or waste management, including at least 2-3 years in greenfield project setup. You should possess a strong understanding of recycling plant machinery, familiarity with EPR regulations and environmental guidelines, and key skills in greenfield project management, recycling processes, team leadership, production planning, EHS compliance, and ERP/SCADA systems knowledge is preferred.
