DB2 DBA on Mainframe(Z/OS): • DB Objects Experience in creating and modifying DB2 objects - Database, Storage Group, Tablespace, Tables, Views, Indexes, etc. • Experience with DB2 commands: - Stop/Start Databases, Display command, Cancel thread and Term & Display utility, others. • Hands on experience on DB2 utilities: Reorg and Runstat, Backup and Recovery of Table spaces (copy & recover), Repair, Load/Unload utilities. • Ability to bind/rebind the Plans/Packages and Granting required accesses to Packages/Plans/Collections. • Experience in Database Monitoring. • Experience in Database replication – IBM DB2 Data Propagator • DB2 administration - Strong Troubleshooting skills • DB2 privileges and RACF • z/OS – TSO, ISPF, JCL. • Tools – DB2 Admin tool, QMF, FileManager, Changeman, ESP. Nice to have: • REXX development experience • Teradata experience Candidate should have: • Good communication skill • Provide 24X7 on call support on rotational basis.
