Database Architect

You are a highly skilled and detail-oriented Database Architect specialized in MS SQL Server with over 5 years of hands-on experience. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, optimization, and maintenance of robust and scalable database solutions. Your key responsibilities include architecting, designing, and implementing secure and scalable database solutions, supporting software developers with T-SQL scripts and stored procedures, optimizing SQL queries for performance efficiency, collaborating with various teams to align data architecture with business needs, monitoring and troubleshooting database systems, enforcing data integrity and access control strategies, and documenting database architecture and best practices. You must have at least 5 years of proven experience in SQL Server database development and administration, a strong command of T-SQL programming, knowledge of database design principles and normalization, expertise in high availability and disaster recovery strategies, familiarity with performance tuning tools and data security measures, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in agile, cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with Microsoft certifications and experience with cloud-based SQL Server instances and DevOps practices.
