Database Administrator

Role & responsibilities

• 8-10 years of experience as Database administrator with 3+ years as Couchbase administrator
• Installation, configuration, monitoring, backup and recovery, security, and performance tuning of Couchbase
• Couchbase Installation and Cluster Setup in all environments.
• Strong understanding of Couchbase architecture, including buckets, scopes, collections, indexing, and N1QL.
• Implementing and managing backup and recovery strategies for Couchbase clusters.
• Domains worked : Banking & Fintech in areas such as Investment Banking, Custody , Issuer Services , Securities and Equities
• Manage, optimize, and support our Couchbase database environments
• Implement robust security practices including role-based access control and data encryption
• Diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to Couchbase Server, including performance bottlenecks
• Work with developers to design efficient data models
• Good Communication skills and experience in Agile process
