Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and data-driven solutions for clients in the financial services sector.
• Apply NLP and computer vision techniques to extract insights from unstructured data sources.
• Write optimized SQL queries to extract and manipulate large datasets from relational databases.
• Build scalable data pipelines and workflows using PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in data science, NLP, computer vision, and big data.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong programming skills in

  Python

  with a focus on data science and machine learning
• Proficient in

  SQL

  , including complex data extraction, transformation, and manipulation
• Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and tools
• Practical knowledge of Computer Vision algorithms and frameworks
• Expertise in developing, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models
• Experience working with PySpark for big data processing and ETL workflows
• Data wrangling skills are mandatory
• Experience with

  BigQuery

  and

  Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  is good to have

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
