Title : Data Lake Implementation Specialist/ Consultant

Job Summary:
As a Senior Datalake Implementation Specialist/Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data lake solutions on Alibaba Cloud, utilizing either Alibaba services or PostgreSQL, among other compatible solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in integrating the data lake with Zoho and various legacy systems, including reservation systems and legacy ERPs such as Otalio. You will leverage your strong design, architecture, communication, and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs in the hospitality sector.

Role & responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of data lake solutions on Alibaba Cloud, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Utilize Alibaba Cloud services or PostgreSQL to create efficient data structure, storage and processing architectures tailored for the hospitality industry. Integrate the data lake with Zoho CRM and other legacy systems, including reservation systems and ERPs like Otalio, to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility. Collaborate with clients to understand their data requirements and provide tailored solutions that enhance data analytics and reporting capabilities. Develop and maintain documentation for data lake architecture, integration processes, and best practices. Conduct training sessions and workshops for client teams to ensure effective utilization of the data lake and associated tools. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for clients post-implementation, addressing any issues that arise. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data lake solutions and cloud computing, sharing insights with the team and clients. Travel to client locations in Saudi Arabia as needed to provide on-site support and consultation.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in data lake implementation, with a strong focus on Alibaba Cloud solutions or PostgreSQL, or other compatible technologies. Proven experience in integrating data lakes with Zoho and legacy systems, including reservation systems and ERPs like Otalio. Strong design and architecture skills, with the ability to create scalable and efficient data solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel to client locations in Saudi Arabia on demand.
