Data Engineer

About the Role: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer with 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in either Snowflake or Databricks. As a Junior Data Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our data engineering and analytics teams to assist in the design, development, and maintenance of robust data pipelines and scalable data solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines using Snowflake or Databricks. - Collaborating with data analysts and stakeholders to comprehend data requirements. - Optimizing data workflows to ensure data quality, performance, and security. - Writing efficient SQL queries for data transformation and cleansing. - Monitoring and troubleshooting data issues in pipelines and storage systems. - Documenting solutions, data models, and processes for future reference. Required Skills and Qualifications: - 1-2 years of experience in data engineering or data platform development. - Hands-on experience with either Snowflake (data warehousing, SnowSQL, Snowpipe, etc.) or Databricks (PySpark/Scala/SQL notebooks, Delta Lake, MLflow, etc.). - Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques. - Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Experience with version control tools like Git. - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and performance tuning.
