Hiring for Data Engineer

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with IT development and/or operations domains with 3 years of cloud development / operations in AWS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex concepts and technologies to diverse audiences.
• Great attitude with Teamwork, Commitment and Accountability
• Have a working knowledge of various data ingestions tools like SAP CPI/ SLT/PO, SAP BW and Teradata that interact with either cloud-based architecture or On Prem Data Bases
• Working knowledge of data governance concepts, tools and processes supporting a complex organizational environment.
• Thorough understanding of Data base concepts in order to build and maintain robust architecture that is highly available, operationally scalable and fault tolerant systems.
• Must have working knowledge of common data engineering technologies like Apache Spark, Python, SQL, etc.
• Experience with State machines/Step Functions for building and maintaining complex Orchestrations in AWS.
• Experience in AWS Redshift, Glue, Aurora, Athena and Kinesis

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with cloud data technologies such as Databricks, DynamoDB, Azure Data Factory, SQL, Synapse, etc.
• Experience with Service Oriented and Event Driven Architectures (SOA, EDA)
• Preferred to have any Cloud based certifications.
• Exposure to other cloud data platforms like Azure or GCP
• 2+ years of Lean / Agile project delivery experience.

Experience or basic knowledge of Identity and Access Management
