Cyber Security Analyst

As a Cyber Security Analyst at Travarsa Private Limited, your primary role will be to review internal and external (client) computer networks to identify potential vulnerabilities. You will be responsible for installing necessary software to protect the networks from unauthorized access and documenting any detections to facilitate efficient mitigation of future breaches. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the security team to conduct tests and uncover network vulnerabilities, as well as addressing and fixing any detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard. It will be crucial for you to stay updated on information technology (IT) security trends and news, and to develop company-wide best practices for IT security. Additionally, you will be expected to perform penetration testing, document security breaches, and assess the damage they cause. Installing security software and possessing a strong understanding of information security management will also be key aspects of your role. To excel in this position, you should have proven work experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or in a similar role, with a background in information security or a related field. Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques is essential, along with a solid understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts. Your ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities, as well as effectively communicate how to avoid them, will be critical. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required for this role.
