Williams Lea Role: Creative Designer - Williams Lea Shift: Rotational (Monthly Once) Week off: Rotational Location: Chennai/Kochi Roles& Responsibilities: Overview of the role The Senior Creative Designer is responsible for creating or adapting a layout as per the job requirement. His / her responsibility will not just be to execute work as instructed, but also to add value to the assigned job by contributing creatively as and when required and reporting to Art Director. Roles and Responsibilities Summary Work closely with the Senior Visualiser / Art Director to produce high quality, finished designs. Adhere to the brief, guidelines and committed timelines. Carry out thorough pre-press checks and ensure that the print file is error-free. Adhere to studio workflow processes and best practice in all day-to-day activities. Be self-managed, with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Proactively offer process improvement recommendations. Develop good knowledge of the clients brands. Proactively challenge off-brand communications internally and externally where appropriate. Suggest proactive work for clients. Skills Required Hands-on working experience in graphic design. Sound, working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop). Ability to work with templates, style guides and having a good understanding of how a brand works across various collaterals. Ability to work on tight deadlines and under pressure. Keen eye for detail and a good sense of typography, colour and balance. Basic understanding of marketing and advertising concepts. Pre-press, Print and Pre-media knowledge would be an advantage. Clarity of thought, good communication and interpersonal skills. Team player. 5+ years’ experience in advertising / design agencies or publishing.
