Job Summary:

Cost Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain standard costing system for all garment products.
Calculate actual production costs (fabric, trims, labor, overheads, etc.) and compare with standard costs to identify variances.
Analyze and report cost variances, material usage, wastage, and overhead absorption.
Collaborate with production and merchandising teams to understand cost drivers and suggest optimization strategies.
Prepare cost sheets, product pricing analysis, and margin reports.
Monitor inventory valuation and conduct physical inventory audits periodically.
Support management in pricing decisions and profitability analysis.
