The role of Copyeditor, starting in August, is ideal for an individual who finds joy in the tasks of editing and proofreading. In this position, you will primarily focus on enhancing the accuracy of AI-transcribed text derived from audio files. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the content reaches 100% accuracy by eliminating any errors present, correcting spelling, punctuation, and grammatical mistakes within the transcript, as well as conducting necessary research to verify the correct spelling of names, places, and terminology. To excel in this role, you should possess some background in content editing or copyediting, be at ease with listening to various accents and addressing audio quality issues, exhibit exceptional attention to detail, demonstrate a keen interest in topics such as business, entrepreneurship, and investing, and be willing to put in dedicated efforts which may sometimes involve working long hours.
