The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is seeking a skilled engineer to join their team of around 3000+ professionals. As part of the team, you will be responsible for various tasks such as tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation, and commissioning. Your main responsibility will be to prepare timely and comprehensive offers and quotations for Gas Insulated switchgear RFQ/Enquiries. You will need to determine the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions, collaborating with the Sales support team to offer solutions to country/region-specific customers. This role will involve close collaboration with the Product Group Territory Marketing & Service Sales Managers responsible for the global market. To excel in this role, you must analyze customer needs through general market info and information provided by Service FES/Territory Managers. You will ensure that all proposals follow relevant Hitachi Energy Procedures and guidelines, rationalize terms and conditions, and review and analyze technical documents and requirements for offers/quotations. As an ideal candidate, you should have experience and skills in preparing and supporting the offer/quotation process. Additionally, you should be experienced in Sales/tendering tools, have knowledge of the Power Grid Market & System offerings, and hold a degree in Electrical Engineering with 1 to 3 years of professional work experience in GIS or EPC or any High Voltage/Medium Voltage electrical product sales & tendering. Excellent communication skills in English are essential for this role.
