Job Description

Key Skills: Appian developer, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Agile, DevOps, Scrum. Roles and Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end Appian (BPM, Workflow) application development, including design, build, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with architects, developers, and project managers to deliver solutions that align with business needs while adhering to technical standards. Research and evaluate technologies in support of the technical strategy, and implement new infrastructure solutions in accordance with established standards and governance. Mentor and assist teammates in developing technical competencies in new technologies. Ensure deliverables meet HSBC's quality standards and best practices. Prepare project-related documentation while ensuring strict compliance with regulatory and audit policies. Provide consultancy and support to developers and business teams regarding security access and technical queries. Work closely with global and regional stakeholders, as well as global development teams, on mandatory, regulatory, and development projects. Ensure systems comply with group infrastructure and security policies and standards. Support applications at both the platform and application level, ensuring operational stability. Experience Requirements: 7-10 years experience working on Appian platforms. Strong experience in building and optimizing database queries, and designing database solutions. Familiarity with Business Process Management (BPM) systems or a strong willingness to self-learn BPM tools such as Appian. Experience with Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, SAIL, Appian Development, SQL, and Mule. Proven experience in designing and developing third-party integrations. Understanding of DevOps methodologies is preferred. Solid knowledge of Agile Scrum practices and experience with project management tools like JIRA. Experience working in multicultural environments with the ability to adapt to different cultures. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to collaborate effectively in a global team environment. Ability to work independently under pressure, balance competing priorities, and deliver results on complex development projects and integrations. High attention to detail paired with the ability to articulate design and implementation aspects concisely. Education: B.Tech M.Tech (Dual), B.Tech, M. Tech.
