Construction Mechanical Supervisor @ Dahej

Role & responsibilities

• Ability to review design drawings, vendor drawings and documents.
• Knowledge of Structure, equipment and piping related drawing and documents
• Understanding of structure fabrication drawing and their connection details.
• Understanding site interface issues with various disciplines
• Ability to take care of site construction activity for structure and equipment erection work Understanding of lifting plan, tools tackles and other rigging gear being used for lifting
• Good exposure of piping fabrication, piping erection, support alignment etc.
• Piping system testing, test pack preparation and handing over to process team
• Good vendor and contractor management skills
• Contractor progress review meeting and progress monitoring at site
• Awareness of various job specific permit systems for performing construction activity
• Awareness on scaffolding construction and validation of the same.
• Knowledge of various codes and standards used in chemical plants.
• Knowledge of Quality management system and implementation at site
• Ensure all activities under his/her control and supervision are compliant with all the laws of land and statutory requirement.
• Conduct all operation of function, ensuring social responsibility and accountabilities by following the company guideline of the same.
• Be responsible for ethical operation under his control.
• Be responsible for prevention, detection and reporting of bribery and other forms of corruption including breach of code of conduct and other company regulation.
• Avoid all such activity that could lead to or imply breach of code of conduct, anti-bribery and anti-corruption etc.
• Formulate safety policies and procedures
• Conduct risk timely assessments.
• Train all employees in your health and safety procedures.
• Conduct frequent safety inspections and checks.
• Understand & educate the importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Demonstrate visible felt leadership

Preferred candidate profile

Total 5-8 years hands on experience in Small/Mid-size Chemical/Petrochemical/Refinery Projects execution in a reputed Company having knowledge in Simultaneous Operations of Multi-Disciplinary activities, Erection to Commissioning Experience.
