Description
You will be responsible for understanding the project requirements and effectively coordinating with the Distributed team to ensure smooth communication. It will be your duty to identify and address any deviations or issues in the project in consultation with the Manager. Your primary impact will involve building assemblies and part Bills of Materials (BOM) in NX and releasing them in SAP. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing detailed manufacturing drawings of Turbo compressor components and assemblies in compliance with Siemens Standards. Maintaining quality standards through detailed checks of all models and drawings, as well as implementing various quality improvement processes, will also be crucial. Supporting the Distributed team in crafting part models, assemblies, and engineering drawings for Turbo compressor core components using NX 11 and TEAMCENTER 11, and performing static calculations and designing special tools for assemblies of Gear Type compressor and Single shaft turbo compressor will be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should hold a B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with knowledge of Centrifugal Compressor components and Assembly, backed by 2-4 years of experience. Hands-on experience with NX 8.5 or 11, as well as a working knowledge of Teamcenter 11.0/SAP, is essential. Proficiency in Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), basic understanding of Static Calculations, knowledge of manufacturing processes and assemblies, good communication, and presentation skills are also required. Soft skills such as being a great teammate, quick learner, and having the ability to adapt quickly and effectively are highly valued.
