Description
As a Spare Part Engineer at Siemens Gamesa, your role will be crucial in ensuring the business continuity of spare part management for the fleet, contributing to the sustainability and efficiency of our operations. Your expertise in product knowledge will be instrumental in navigating through various engineering support systems and collaborating with platform engineers to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to spare parts. Your responsibilities will include creating documents in Teamcenter, handling Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) fleet and non-fleet engineering support cases via JIRA, validating new materials through material requests, managing obsolescence cases, and enhancing the process for new material creation. Additionally, you will be involved in validating Bills of Materials (BOMs) in Teamcenter for retrofits and assessing existing materials in SAP. To excel in this role, you should ideally possess a Bachelor's degree in industrial electrical engineering or a related field, along with proven experience in spare parts management. Proficiency in SAP and Teamcenter systems, as well as hands-on experience with JIRA and SAP ECC, will be essential. Strong communication skills, fluency in English, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are also key attributes that you should bring to the table.
