Community Manager - Hostel

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic individual who would strive to improve the experience of the students in the Hostel. With 4 different branches across four campuses in CMR Higher Ed, the need for students' physical health and mental health balance is a priority for CMR Key Responsibilities: 1. Customer Experience Prepare a customer experience strategy on activities to be performed in different hostels and execute them (Ex, Yoga day, Physical health and mental health activities) Responsible to gather regular feedback from students on events and improve the experience by making necessary strategic changes in hostel operations Interact with students on a regular basis to understand their needs and execute changes to improve their hostel experience Ensure that the attrition rate in hostels is maintained by tracking customer satisfaction on a regular basis 2. Stakeholder management Work with different stakeholders internally and externally to manage experience of students in all 4 hostels in Bangalore Should be able to work with hostel wardens, hostel managers, canteen managers and hostel head to execute changes in hostel operations 3. Event Management Responsible for the smooth functioning of various planned events End to End to bolster student experience in hostels (Ex: Game day, Yoga day, Mental health drives, Sports events, etc.) Research and bring in external vendors and experts for different events and activities. Maintain strong relationships and collaborate with them for further communications. 4. Promotion & Marketing End to End strategy of marketing in the hostel and college to increase the participation of students in the events Promote the activities done on social media & other digital platforms working closely with the content team. Contribute new ideas on these channels to bring in new students for the hostel
