Commis Chef( Indian, Chinese, Bakery, Conti)

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Commis Chefs to join our culinary team across multiple sections — Indian, Chinese, Continental, and Bakery. The ideal candidates will assist in daily food preparation and maintain high standards of hygiene and kitchen practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of food as per the assigned section.
• Follow standard recipes and instructions given by Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
• Ensure ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
• Practice proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Prepare mise en place for smooth kitchen operations.
• Support in plating and garnishing dishes as required.
• Handle basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with receiving and storing supplies.
• Report any equipment malfunction or shortage to supervisors.
• Maintain personal hygiene and grooming as per hotel standards.

Requirements:

• 1 years of relevant experience (varies by Commi I, II, or III).
• Specialization or experience in one or more cuisines:
• Indian: Tandoor, Curry, South/North Indian dishes
• Chinese: Wok, Dim Sum, Sauces, Soups
• Continental: Salads, Pasta, Grills, Appetizers
• Bakery & Confectionery: Breads, Cakes, Pastries, Desserts
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and hygiene standards.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management.
• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, QSR, or cloud kitchen setup.
• Familiarity with HACCP or food safety regulations.
