Role & responsibilities Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Cognos Developer with expertise in Framework Management and Admin tasks to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of hands-on experience in Cognos development and support, with a strong focus on managing Cognos environments and optimizing reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Cognos Framework Manager models and reports. Perform Cognos Admin tasks, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Support and maintain Cognos BI environments (reporting, security, and user management). Work closely with business teams to understand reporting requirements and design solutions. Perform upgrades, patches, and system optimizations. Ensure high availability and performance of Cognos reporting applications. Provide technical support for Cognos users and resolve issues. Required Skills: 6+ years of experience in Cognos BI development and administration. Strong knowledge of Cognos Framework Manager , Cognos Report Studio , and Cognos Administration . Experience in creating and managing data models, reports, and dashboards. Proficiency in SQL and database concepts. Good understanding of security and deployment in Cognos environments. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
