ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS Report To : QC Manager

Supervises / manages : Standard Room, Measuring Equipments & CMM

Co-ordinates with : Production, Quality & Development

Internal : Production, Quality & Development

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION : Handling of Standard Room, Measuring Equipment & CMM

RESPONSIBILITIES

1 Determine program requirements based on design and engineering requirements.

2 Ensure that precision machinery is in working condition and properly calibrated.

3 Operate precision machinery as needed.

4 Write or edit programs for precision machinery.

5 Exhaustive planning of all the measurement systems, CMM, gauges and measuring fixtures etc

6 A good working knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T 7 As the machinery is measuring items for safety reasons, the operator must be confident with using computers to guarantee accuracy, as well as possess good math and geometry skills.
