The ideal candidate will support dentists during procedures, manage patient care, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. A passion for dental health and a patient-centric attitude are essential. Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, root canals). Prepare and organize dental instruments and materials. Sterilize dental tools and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols. Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical documentation. Take and process dental X-rays (if certified). Provide post-operative instructions to patients as directed by the dentist. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up reminders. Order and monitor dental supplies and materials. Skills & Qualifications: 10th and above Good communication Representable Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Compassionate and patient-friendly demeanour. Duties and responsibilities Conduct regular thorough examinations on newborns and young children to check and record their dental health and normal physical development Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and individual medical history Fabricate space maintainers designed for patients Treat primary and secondary teeth and constructs and places bridges, dentures, and obturating appliances suitable for growing arches Take dental impressions and administer preparation of crowns and/or implants Take X-Rays of impacted teeth and determine their condition and appropriate treatment Diagnose and treat diseases of the teeth and gums Counsel and advises patients and family on growth and development dental problems of patient Instructs patient and family members on dental care Provides preventive services through use of fluorides and sealants Recommend regular hygiene appointments for re-occurring patients Respond to dental emergencies Regularly update patients’ medical records after each visit Keep abreast of advancements in dental pediatrics and best practices by attending seminars and conferences Requirements and qualifications BDS from a accredited college/university MDS - paediatric dentistry from a accredited college/university Previous working experience as a Pedodontist for 1 year and above Valid DCi license In depth knowledge of procedures for working with the families of patients under the age of 18 Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Outstanding patient management skills Compassionate and friendly personality Excellent problem solving skills Ability to multi-task Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Commission pay Performance bonus Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
