The position is a 9- month appointment and is predominantly located at CU Nursing Building in Greenville SC with additional responsibilities for simulation activities and additional activities at the SON in Edwards Hall main campus. The anticipated start date for this position is August 2025. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will possess clinical experience in the area of critical care nursing. Teaching experience at the University level that enhances students’ critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities is expected. The candidate will have comfort with the supervision of student groups and commitment to collaborative communication with healthcare professionals in various clinical settings. Prior engagement with curricular revision and incorporation of multiple classroom instructional technology methods would be evident. Responsibilities Will Include Teaching: Teach in classroom, clinical sites and simulated clinical learning activities in the simulation laboratory in collaboration with other course faculty Research and Scholarship: Assure that classroom course material is evidence informed. Clemson University: College of Science: Genetics & Biochemistry Location Biosystems Research Complex / BRC 317C Open Date Jul 17, 2025 Description The Lewis Lab in the Department of Genetics and Biochemistry at Clemson University is recruiting an evolutionary genomics postdoctoral researcher as part of an NSF-funded project to study adaptation in neotropical butterflies. This research will build on substantial preliminary data to study the evolution of sexual dimorphisms, adaptation to local environments, and/or wing color pattern evolution. The postdoc will work with the PI to develop a research program that includes their own interests. Projects require travel to Central and South America. About The Lewis Lab The Lewis Lab uses population and functional genomics to identify the molecular mechanisms and evolutionary processes that underlie adaptive evolution.
