Civil Quality Control Engineer @ Dahej

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct day-to-day inspections of civil activities like reinforcement, formwork, concrete pouring, etc.
• Ensure works conform to approved drawings and specifications.

• Maintain QA/QC records including checklists, cube test reports, pour cards, material approvals.
• Support preparation of internal and external quality audit documentation.

• Ensure materials received are as per specification and approved sources.
• Conduct visual and field tests for materials like cement, aggregates, sand, etc.
• Coordinate with project execution, design, and vendor QC teams.
• Provide timely feedback and raise quality observations proactively.
• Support during third-party inspections and client quality reviews.
• Ensure construction activities are in line with IS codes, project specs, and QA/QC procedures.
• Ensure all activities under his/her control and supervision are compliant with all the laws of land and statutory requirement.
• Conduct all operation of function, ensuring social responsibility and accountabilities by following the company guideline of the same.
• Be responsible for ethical operation under his control.
• Be responsible for prevention, detection and reporting of bribery and other forms of corruption including breach of code of conduct and other company regulation.
• Avoid all such activity that could lead to or imply breach of code of conduct, anti-bribery and anti-corruption etc.
• Formulate safety policies and procedures
• Conduct risk timely assessments.
• Train all employees in your health and safety procedures.
• Conduct frequent safety inspections and checks.
• Understand & educate the importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Demonstrate visible felt leadership

Preferred candidate profile

• Attention to Detail: Ensures thorough inspection and reporting without missing key quality parameters.
• Accountability: Takes ownership of QA/QC deliverables and follows through until closure.
• Analytical Thinking: Applies logical analysis for root cause of quality issues and recommends corrective actions.
• Communication: Clearly conveys technical observations and collaborates with site teams effectively.
• Quality Commitment: Adheres strictly to standards and procedures to maintain consistent quality output
• Minimum 48 years of experience in QA/QC for civil works in industrial projects
  Experience in EPC / chemical / infrastructure sector preferred.
