Drive direct sales activities requiring product presentations at all levels of Ciena and client organization. Develop thorough understanding of the Ciena product line, features and solutions Identify customers' business objectives and leverage them to drive buying criteria Drive responses to RFPs, RFIs and quotes. Define, analyze, and communicate specific feature requirements to global teams. Solution sales experience would be a pref. How You Will Contribute Customer facing presales engineering representative focused on India Enterprise, Datacenter and ISP market. Perform technical tasks, including assisting in written proposals, network design and engineering and quotes. The Must Haves Strong technical expertise in designing optical networks and fiber optic solutions for ISPs (Jio/ LTV would be a pref), enterprise clients, and data center environments. Solid foundational knowledge of routing, switching, and telecommunications network management. Excellent written and verbal communication, with effective presentation skills. Highly adaptable and capable of managing multiple priorities independently. Proven skills in management, decision-making, and problem-solving. Well-versed in navigating competitive sales environments.
