Job Description: Chemistry Faculty – Universal Group of Institutions (UGI), Bangalore Position: Assistant/Associate Professor – Chemistry Department: Science (UG/Integrated Programs) Location: Universal Group of Institutions, Bangalore, Karnataka Job Type: Full-time | On-Campus Experience: Minimum 2 years (Freshers with NET/JRF may apply) Role Summary: We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Chemistry Faculty to teach undergraduate students enrolled in B.Sc. and integrated programs (including UPSC/KPSC-focused tracks). The candidate must demonstrate the ability to teach fundamental and advanced chemistry concepts, integrate interdisciplinary learning, and inspire students toward academic and competitive excellence. Key Responsibilities: Teach General, Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry to UG students. Develop lesson plans, course materials, and lab experiments aligned with academic and competitive standards. Deliver lectures using modern pedagogical tools (PPT, smart boards, videos, animations). Conduct internal assessments, evaluations, and student mentoring. Guide students preparing for competitive exams (e.g., UPSC, KPSC, CSIR-NET, GATE). Support curriculum development and continuous syllabus updates. Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, FDPs, and institutional events. Promote research, innovation, and academic excellence in the classroom. Qualifications: Essential: Master’s Degree in Chemistry (M.Sc) from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks. Desirable: Ph.D. / NET / SLET / GATE qualification. Prior teaching experience at UG level preferred. Proficiency in English; Kannada communication skills will be an added advantage. Skills & Attributes: Strong subject knowledge with the ability to simplify complex concepts. Passion for teaching and mentoring students. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
