Job Description:

A Student Counselor provides guidance and support to students, often in educational settings, focusing on academic, career, and personal development. They assess students' needs, create individualized plans, and connect them with resources to achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Academic Counseling:Assisting students with course selection, study habits, and test preparation.
• Career Guidance:Helping students explore career options, develop job skills, and navigate the job market.
• Personal Development:Providing support for emotional, social, and behavioral issues, and helping students develop coping strategies.
• Collaboration:Working with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' needs are met.
• Resource Management:Connecting students with resources like tutoring, counseling, and financial aid.
• Assessment and Planning:Conducting assessments to identify student needs and create individualized plans.
• Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions.
• Training and Presentations:Delivering presentations on topics relevant to student success.
• Advocacy:Advocating for student needs and ensuring access to equitable resources.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekend availability

Supplemental Pay:

• Performance bonus
• Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Begur, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
