Job Description

1. Financial Reporting Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards (IND AS, IFRS, or US GAAP as applicable). Supporting audit processes (statutory, internal, tax audits). 2. General Ledger Accounting Performing month-end and year-end close activities. Preparing journal entries and reconciliations (banks, intercompany, fixed assets, etc.). Ensuring accurate and timely posting in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). 3. Compliance & Controls Ensuring adherence to internal financial controls (IFC). Supporting in documentation for SOX compliance (if applicable). Assisting in internal control testing and reporting deviations, if any. 4. Accounts Payable/Receivable Oversight Reviewing vendor/customer accounts for anomalies. Coordinating with AP/AR teams for invoice processing and payment reconciliation. 5. Statutory Compliance Supporting in timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns. Assisting with tax computation and provisioning. Liaising with consultants on direct and indirect tax compliance. 6. Budgeting & Forecasting Support (if applicable) Assisting in variance analysis against budgets. Helping in the preparation of periodic financial forecasts and cash flow analysis.
